Welcome to the Pate Boatyard
Entry for August 22, 2008

Undeterred by the fact that neither one of them has a driver's license , these two young fellas were bound and determined to get their new lawn mow from Hobucken over to South Creek. Being natural-born watermen, they never thought twice about putting it into the skiff and taking off with it, regardless of the fact that it was blowin a gale out of the NE. Not sure yet how wet they got, but am absolutely sure they got there and suspect that if more young folks had boats we'd all be a lot better off.

Well...I've thoroughly enjoyed reading each story with its corresponding picture, and I must say, "You did a fine job of putting this together." I laughed out loud at the tale of the dropped engine (rope attached) and the log lift in Lowland. I applaud the Hobucken way! Keep up the fun.
